UK Delivery Information
Please note that the following standard delivery charges apply for UK retail orders :
- UK deliveries are undertaken by APC and DPD Couirers : £7.50 for 1 case of 6 and £9.95 for 1 case of 12 (per address) and £8.00 per subsequent case provided that the wine is in stock and the order is received by 1pm.
- We are happy to deliver to the the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, the Shetlands, Orkneys and Channel Islands. Unfortunately these charges are quite a lot higher. We charge £17.95 per case 6 and £27.95 per case of 12. Each additional case of 12 is £20.00
Standard delivery timeframe is 3-5 days. Though often dispatched same day subject to stock availability.
Due to the large number of wines on the list and the popularity of certain wines, it is not uncommon for a wine to be out of stock on a particular day… which means we will need to reorder from our suppliers. Hence some orders may take 3-14 days to fulfil. Major suppliers deliver twice a week but some smaller suppliers will only deliver fortnightly and this may delay an order.
We also keep remote stocks on many line items and in these instances it may take slightly longer to process orders.
This is why we ask customers to advise us in the checkout process if they are happy with vintage changes or substitutes which can help to speed up order fulfilment. If your order is urgent, especially if it is for a specific event or date then please do let us know via an email or a note on your order and please specify the date required.
Orders for Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and the Orkneys – please allow 3-7 days. It may also take longer to deliver to remote areas – including the following post codes: AB, BT, DD 8-11, HS, IV, KA 27-28, KW, PA20-23, 28-29, 31, 34, 41 onwards, PH8, 10, 16, 18 onwards, TR21-25, ZE.
If you need the wine for a particular date, or before a particular date please make sure you mention this in the comments section when placing your order.
Actual time of delivery is based upon 9am-5.30pm. Please contact us for any specific delivery requests.
After you have placed your order online, we will send you an order acknowledgement email.
If no one is home, the courier will leave a card to say she/he has been. Alternatively, you may authorize the courier to leave the order in a certain place. There is a textbox in the shopping checkout where delivery instructions can be left should no one be home to meet the courier. Let us know if you want the courier to leave your order in a certain spot (e.g. at back door or in shed etc). IMPORTANT NOTE: if a request is made for wine to be left unattended we cannot be held responsible if the wine goes missing after the courier has delivered it.
Yes you can.
We are committed to giving you complete satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with any Leverre product, please write to us within 14 days of receipt. A full refund or alternative will be offered provided the goods remain in good condition and that the request to cancel is received in writing. You can tell us you want to cancel your order by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A charge of £10 for collections will be payable in the UK. If the order has been exported, upon cancellation the customer will be liable for all delivery charges incurred, and applicable taxes will also be charged back to the Customer. If returned wines are not deemed to be in a saleable condition, a re-delivery fee will also be charged. (this does not affect your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods).
Please return the goods along with a letter explaining why you are returning the product and enclose it with your shipment. Carefully secure and package the merchandise to prevent damage in transit (the package with remaining product must be returned).
If there are breakages in transit please save the merchandise and the package it arrived in and notify us immediately – ideally including a photograph.
Please note: All exchanges or returns must be notified within 14 days and shipped within 30 days of receiving your order together with a letter detailing why you are returning the product. Shipping and handling charges are NOT refundable unless the goods delivered were incorrect or damaged. In case of returns, refunds will be made to your card or bank account only once the goods are received and checked at our warehouse.
